COVID-19 Thanksgiving Safety Tips and Guidelines in the Corvallis Area

COVID-19 has delayed and canceled many holiday plans and many families are unsure of how safe it is to celebrate with family this year. We are here to help. To help keep friends and family safe and reduce the spread of the virus, the Centers for Disease Control recommends spending Thanksgiving with just your immediate household family members. If you do plan to have a small family Thanksgiving, here are a few safety tips.

  • Stay Home if You Feel Sick
  • Wear a Mask Over Your Nose and Mouth
  • Social Distance – 6 Feet – Whenever Possible
  • Wash and Sanitize Your Hands Frequently
  • Bring Your Own Food, Drinks, Plates, Cups and Utensils to Dinner
  • Avoid Crowded Areas Where Food is Prepared
  • Use Single-Serve Condiments and Utensils
  • Have a Small Outdoor Thanksgiving Dinner
  • Limit the Number of Guests and Family Members
