The 2020 Dodge Journey might still not be available in the market, but some interesting information has already been released. As the only crossover in the segment that offers standard seven-passenger seating, the 2020 Journey is a great option for big families that need both space and comfort. With enough capacity to be considered a minivan and a sculpted and aggressive exterior that resembles an SUV, this Dodge has it all. The 2020 Journey remains the most affordable midsize crossover in its class and will start at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $23,495. If we take a quick look at the current seven-seat crossovers the market has to offer, this can be considered a fairly low price.
For 2020, Dodge has simplified the Journey lineup to two trim levels: SE and Crossroad. But the standard trim is not as basic as you might think. The SE model comes equipped with cruise control, a 4.3-inch touch screen, 6-speaker audio system, power heated mirrors, 17-inch wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control and tilt steering wheel.
This year’s Journey will also ensure a smooth and comfortable handling. The model is equipped with a 2.4-liter V4 engine that produces 173 horsepower and 166 pound-feet of torque. Unfortunately, though, last year’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 283 horsepower is no longer available.

Seating and Space
As a family-friendly vehicle, the 2020 Journey features comfortable three-row, seven-passenger seating and has plenty of storage. In both trim levels, second and third-row seats fold flat to create 67.6 cubic feet of cargo space. The Crossroad model also offers available in-floor storage bins on the second-row seats that you can use for extra storage.
The 2020 Journey has more than 40 available safety and security features. Both SE and Crossroad trims come standard with active head restraints, electronic roll mitigation and Brake Assist, electronic stability control with all-speed traction control, and Rear Park Assist. There are also multistage seat airbags in the front and side-curtain airbags covering all three rows.
Popular Equipment Group
Available in both trim levels, new Popular Equipment Group bundles many popular features in one easy-to-order package. When equipped in the base trim, it includes Uconnect Voice Command with Bluetooth and SiriusXM Radio, power driver seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, premium cloth seating, 3-zone climate control and interior observation mirror.
