There are four trim levels available for the 2020 Jeep Compass. It starts with the Sport trim and goes up from there with the Latitude, Limited, and the top Trailhawk. The Latitude also has an Altitude appearance package available and the Limited has a High Altitude appearance package available. The Trailhawk trim comes with four-wheel drive standard, but all other trims are still available with this feature though they come with front-wheel drive standard.
The 2020 Jeep Compass comes with a 2.4-liter Tigershark engine that delivers up to 32-highway mpg in FWD and 31-highway mpg in 4x4. This engine allows the Jeep Compass to tow up to 2,000 pounds. The Compass offers three transmission options with a six-speed automatic on all FWD models and a class-exclusive 9-speed automatic on all four-wheel-drive models. A six-speed manual transmission is also available.
Since this is a Jeep, the Trailhawk trim still features excellent off-roading specs with a 30-degree approach angle, a 24-degree breakover angle, a 34-degree departure angle, and an insane 19 inches of water-fording capability.
