How far can the 2020 RAM 1500 EcoDiesel go on a tank of fuel?
Here’s where numbers get insane, but also a little complicated. The 2020 RAM 1500 is actually available with three different fuel tanks. Quad cab models come with a 23-gallon fuel tank standard and Crew Cab models come with a 26-gallon fuel tank standard.
Regardless what model you select, you can upgrade the fuel tank to an even larger 33-gallon fuel tank. To figure out just how far the 2020 EcoDiesel can go on a tank of fuel, it’s a simple matter of multiplication.
We will take the highway efficiency to maximize range, with that in mind you get up to 1,056 miles of range with the 33-gallon tank and a 4×2 RAM 1500 diesel. The 26-gallon tank would give you 832 miles and the 23-gallon tank would give you 736 miles.
If you need a 4×4 model, then that will reduce your range a little, but it isn’t much. The 33-gallon tank still provides a whopping 957 miles of range. With the other tanks you still get 754 miles with the 26-gallon option and 667 miles with the 23-gallon option.
